Health Department
Mission Statement
The Health Department protects the Town's health by monitoring potential hazards and by taking remedial action when necessary. The Health Department provides the following services:
- Investigate public health hazards (File Complaint Form)
- Participate in epidemic and disease prevention programs
- Respond to disasters and assists in recovery operations
- Inspect school and business food processes
- Monitor Title 5 (septic system) compliance
- Enforce federal, state, and local health laws and regulations
- Inform, educate, and involve residents in health protection matters
