Planning Board
The Salisbury Planning Board is comprised of five voting members and one alternate member, all of whom are volunteers appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Voting members serve five-year terms, while the alternate member serves a two-year term. The Board is supported by full-time staff located in the Department of Planning and Development Office at Town Hall.
The Planning Board plays a vital role in overseeing land use within the town. This includes regulating the Subdivision Control Law, conducting Site Plan Reviews, issuing Special Permits, and enforcing Salisbury’s Zoning By-law. The Board is dedicated to continuously improving to meet the evolving needs of the town's growing population and commerce.
