Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) hears and decides zoning appeals; hears and decides applications for all special permits referred to in the ZBA by-laws; and authorizes upon appeal, or upon petition in cases where a particular use is sought for which no permit is required, with respect to a particular parcel of land or to an existing building thereon, a variance from the terms of the ZBA bylaw. The ZBA is a five member board, appointed by the Town Manager, with members serving three year terms. The ZBA meets as needed every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Town Hall.
