Cable Ave Traffic Control

To help mitigate the heavy traffic and gridlock that have occurred on busy beach days at the south end of the beach, we are making efforts to restrict non-resident traffic from entering the south end.

Right turns will be prohibited from Beach Road onto Cable Ave beginning at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday. A sign board will be on location indicating “No Right Turn,” “No Beach Parking,” and “Resident Access Only.”

Residents and their visitors will be able to access the south end of the beach from Railroad Ave. This is being done on a trial basis to see if it helps alleviate the traffic issues that have been occurring. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
