Salisbury Annual Lighting of the Tree

Salisbury’s Annual Lighting of the Tree has been postponed until Tuesday, Nov 29th , due to the inclement weather. The rescheduled event includes many of the same activities that were planned for Sunday. Families can expect to have photo opportunities with Mr. Claus (be sure to bring your own camera), a Grinch Storywalk/Grinch selfie stations, tour SPL’s Season Wreathing’s (a community display of over 30 wreaths), a sing a long with the Victorian Carolers, open house and gingerbread stroll at the 1882 Pike School, snowball fights,  and character visits. Following the event, the Historic East Parish Church, located on 8 Lafayette Rd (next to CVS) is welcoming everyone for a Cookie and Cocoa reception. All events are free, but we ask that if you are able to, please bring an unwrapped toy or donation for Salisbury Santa’s Helper Charitable Foundation.
