Arts and Cultural Initiative

Do you want more public art and cultural events and opportunities in Salisbury? The Salisbury Cultural Council (SCC) has created an Arts and Cultural Initiative to ensure that arts and culture will be part of the master plan for the Town of Salisbury. Our goal is to develop a comprehensive plan indicating the current cultural assets and recommending new public art and cultural initiatives for the future of Salisbury to be included in the master plan.

We are seeking a community member to join the Arts and Cultural Initiative subcommittee that will consist of a representative from the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Historical Commission, and the SCC. We anticipate meeting once a month for a duration of six to nine months. The first meeting will be on Thursday, October 28 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall. Art brings people together and creates a sense of belonging.
