Power Aggregation Plan Savings Q1

Colonial Power, the Town’s electricity aggregation partner, has just provided us with the results of the first quarter of calendar 2020 and, once again, electricity consumers in Salisbury have saved a considerable amount of money.  During the first year in which the Town was involved in the electricity aggregation program, electricity customers in town saved in excess of $327,000, of which 87% represented savings by residential customers.  In the most recent quarter, another $180,811 was saved, bringing the total savings in just five quarters to $508,643, of which $444,746 was saved by residential customers.
