Cable and Railroad Ave Paving
The Town has contracted with D&R General Contracting to repave Cable Ave and Railroad Ave. This project will begin on or about September 21st and is estimated to extend through October 16th, please plan accordingly. Tasks include milling, adjusting structures (manholes and gate boxes), and paving. This project is weather dependent and is subject to last-minute changes.
Updates for this paving project will be posted on the Town’s website (www.salisburyma.gov), sent through the Code Red Emergency Alerting System (https://salisburypolice.com/sign-up-for-code-red/) and displayed on electronic message boards that will be placed on the street prior to and during the project.
Any necessary traffic management plans will be well signed. Vehicle access will be allowed, but limited. The school bus company will be notified of the paving schedule, delays with pick up and drop off may occur.
Please note that there will be NO PARKING allowed on Cable Ave and Railroad Ave between the hours of 7am to 5pm, Monday - Friday for the duration of the project., however, residents on these two streets will be allowed to park in the James Hunt Memorial Parking Lot (large municipal parking lot) at no charge. This option for free parking applies to weekdays only, Monday – Friday from 7am to 5pm for the duration of this project.
