Salisbury Housing Rehabilitation Program
- Personalized assistance in the application process to qualify for housing rehab grants and loans for up to $30,000. Units with lead or septic replacement/sewer tie-in issues can receive up to $35,000. To be placed on this program’s waiting list, please fill out the pre-application.
- Guidance from our Rehab Specialist as to the scope of rehab work required and the selection of an approved contractor.
- Project monitoring at every level of development
- Maintaining a list of CDBG eligible projects including: Public facilities and infrastructure upgrades, Architectural Barrier Removal Program, and Lead Abatement Assistance.
Boys and Girls Club Scholarship Program
-The Boys and Girls Club Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to low/moderate income Salisbury residents to attend the Boys and Girls Club. Please fill out pre-application to begin process.
YWCA of Greater Newburyport Childcare Assistance Program
- This program provides licensed full-day daycare on a reduced fee basis for children ages six weeks to five years old from income qualified households.
Pettengill House Emergency Assistance Program
-Emergency Assistance Program administered through the Pettengill House. This program provides up to $1,000 tolow/moderate income Salisbury residents to help meet emergency needs; including, but not limited to, assisting with utilities, rent, childcare, and transportation. Salisbury Council on Aging Senior Aid Program
- This program will provide case management, housing, medical, and utility emergency assistance of up to $500 and support to Salisbury’s growing senior population.
Our Neighbors Table Meals Program
– This program will allow low- and moderate-income Salisbury residents access to food free-of-charge.
