Additionally, the department enforces fair labor practices; manages employee benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, 457B plans, etc); establishes and monitors Town policies and procedures; and adapts to changing Massachusetts laws. Furthermore, the department works with various brokers and agents each year to ensure that the Town and its employees get the best pricing possible on all the benefits that are provided. Finally, the department provides quality customer service in a friendly atmosphere while always striving to make the work environment for our employees positive and engaging.
