Town Proposes New Welcome Center at Salisbury Beach

Welcome Center

The Town is seeking approval at the June 22 Town Meeting for funding to construct a new welcome center at Salisbury Beach, which will include new restrooms and other amenities. According to Town Manager Neil Harrington, this project will not require an override, and the bonding costs can be absorbed within the Town’s operating budget. The existing comfort station on Cable Avenue is several decades old, is in poor shape, is in an inconvenient location, and is sorely in need of replacement. The new proposed facility will greatly enhance the Town’s image as a community that welcomes all enjoy its finest asset – Salisbury Beach. Click here to view plans for the new facility.
