Temporary Daytime Lane Closures Scheduled on Route 1A and State Beach Road
Closures will take place weekly from Wednesday, April 28, through Friday, May 14, during daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
SALISBURY – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be implementing daily lane closures on a portion of Route 1A (Beach Road) and State Beach Road, between the Old County Road and Broadway, in Salisbury. The lane closures will take place weekly, Monday through Friday, from Wednesday, April 28, through Friday, May 14, during daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The temporary lane closures are needed to allow crews to safely and effectively conduct maintenance operations. The work will consist of a maintenance pavement resurfacing including utility structure adjustments and pavement markings.
The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
