The Town of Salisbury will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Lafayette Road/Main Street sewer project on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 3:30 PM.  The ceremony will be held in the vicinity of 88 Lafayette Road and will include members of the Board of Selectmen, local elected officials, representatives of the contractor and Town department heads.  The public is invited.  This project, which is estimated to cost $18.5 million, will bring sewer service to several hundred properties along Lafayette Road, between School House Lane and the New Hampshire border, on Main Street between Rabbit Road and Toll Road, and on Jak-Len Drive and Bayberry Lane.  The project is underway and is expected to be completed within two years.
