MassDOT Road Repairs Updated

MassDOT announced that roadway repairs (paving) will be conducted along a portion of Route 1A (Beach Road) in the Town on the days of June 11, 12, and 13. The limit of the work is from the intersection of Route 1, easterly to approximately 800 feet beyond Hayes Street. The work schedule will be nightly from 8 pm until 5 am.  Roadway milling is anticipated for a duration of 3 nights from Monday night through Thursday morning. Intermittent related work such as drainage structure adjustments, which will have a daytime work schedule, will occur after the milling is complete.

Lane closures with alternating traffic will be necessary, however, two way traffic will be maintained whenever possible.

MassDOT encourages drivers to reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
