The Town would like to let residents age 75 and older to know that they can pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccination by contacting the Council on Aging at (978) 462-2412. Salisbury is part of an 8-community coalition that has been seeking to acquire doses of the vaccine from the State for local distribution. When such vaccines become available, the Town wants to make sure as many people as possible age 75 and older are ready to sign up for an appointment. This is particularly true for older residents who cannot use or have difficulty accessing the Internet.
Additionally, the State has started a resource hotline for people age 75 and older seeking to be vaccinated at one of the State’s vaccine “super sites.” Residents can call 2-1-1 and speak to a representative in English or Spanish and receive assistance in signing up for a vaccine appointment at one of the State’s sites. Please note, due to the high demand for appointments and limited vaccine supply, it may take weeks to secure an available appointment via the State’s 2-1-1 system.
