On Friday, May 12th a portion of Congress Street will have the binder coat installed. This will be from the top of Congress from the section between Main Street and Locust Street. The remaining portion of Congress will be done on Saturday May 13th.
The binder coat will be installed on Allen Drive and Daniel Court beginning on Friday, May 12th and continue through Saturday, May 13th.
Milling of Brooks Road, Central Ave, and Lynne Ave will begin on Monday, May 15th.

In 2022 the Town of Salisbury kicked-off the Street Paving Program. This investment is part of a multi-year program to tackle road repairs and implement upgrades to the condition of several Town roads that are currently in poor condition. This year, the Town will invest an estimated $1 million dollars to upgrade the condition of several streets. This will be completed with support from the Chapter 90 program and an appropriation of $700,000 which was approved at the 2022 Fall Town Meeting.

The Town is happy to announce the following streets are scheduled to be completed this spring: Allen Drive, Brooks Road, Central Avenue, Congress Street, Daniel Court and Lynne Ave.

These streets add up to approximately 2.79 miles of roadway to be paved.

The Town has contracted with D&R Paving and they will be doing the work, beginning the week of May 8th, starting with Congress Street. Tasks to be completed include adjusting structures which includes manholes and gate boxes and reclamation/pulverizing, which includes rough and fine grading, a binder coat of asphalt, and a top coat of asphalt. These tasks are weather dependent so there could be some last-minute changes. We will post any changes from D&R on this page. Any necessary traffic management plans will be well signed.
