The Town of Salisbury's Department of Public Works will be undertaking the task of replacing the water main on the Salisbury streets of Adams, Garfield, and Taft. The project will take place starting October 15, 2019 and ending around Thanksgiving, weather permitting. The Town Meeting appropriation for this project is $277,000 and will involve removal and replacement of the current water main along with a temporary water main that will be installed along the Right of Way so that disruption to water services in these areas do not occur. Temporary stone ramps on these streets will also be installed so that vehicles can access their driveways through the entirety of the project. Once the new water main is successfully installed and tested, the temporary water main and stone ramps will be removed. No interuprtion to water services is expected during the course of this project. The Town looks forward to working with our contractors, J.P. Cardillo & Son for construction and Millennium Enginnering for engineering oversight.
