Board of Selectmen

Mission Statement

The Board of Selectmen act as the Chief Executive Office within the Town of Salisbury and serve as the policy making agency for the Town. The Selectmen are responsible for the issuance of policy directives and for creating broad policy guidelines designed to bring all agencies of the Town into harmony while allowing the day-to-day operations of the Town to be run by the officers and employees appointed by or under its authority. The Board of Selectmen are an elected five member board, each serving three year terms.
