Notice of Intent Checklist

 

Before a Notice of Intent application is accepted, the following items must be completed:

 

     1.  All applicable sections of the NOI must be filled in.

 

     2.  A check made out to the Town of Salisbury for the filing fees.

 

     3.  An original signature by the property owner or a representative on the NOI form.  A letter of consent will be acceptable in lieu of a signature on the application. 

 

     4.  A copy of the certified abutters list, a copy of the notice, and proof of delivery of the abutters notices at least 5 business days prior to your public hearing date.  This can be in the form of stamped post office receipts or a sign-off sheet that each abutter signs upon receipt of the notice.

 

     5.  Stamped engineered plans showing the following:

                 Existing conditions (property lines, contours, structures, pavement, etc.)

                 Proposed conditions (structures, stormwater, contours, replication, landscaping, etc.)

                 Resource areas (wetlands, dunes, etc.)

                 Flood zones

                 25’ no disturb zone

                 40’ no build zone

                 Erosion controls

                 Scale (at least 1”=40’)

 

     6.  Proof of mailing to NHESP if applicable.

     8.  Seven (7) copies of the completed application and plans delivered to the conservation commission office two weeks prior to the intended meeting date.
