Case #07-015             53 Bridge Road-Tim Lamprey

Tim stepped down from board as applicant

Request to replace existing sign with a new internally lit sign 32 sq.ft. and reader board

3’ X 8’. Reader board to be manually changed, not oscillating.  Due to site conditions new sign will be set on double posts and moved closer to building. Lighting to be on a timer to shut off at 11PM. Height request of 18’ so can be more visible from the road. 

Motion by Mark to grant variance request per plan as not more detrimental to neighborhood,

Case #07-010             4 Main St.-Ramanbhati Patel

Case #07-011             64-64 ½ No . End Blvd.-Carol Ann & Michael O’Neill

Request to get relief from standard size parking spots because of odd shaped lot.

Current design shows vehicles will extend beyond lot line, board would like to see a redesign to try and make 4 spots inside property boundary. Also request to have relief from height for a stair egress to roof. Current plan also shows solarium with building mechanical units above 35’. O’Neill’s will reduce the  height of the solarium to meet the 35’ requirement.

Abutters; Emily Antoine 57 No.End Blvd.;concerns with the parking issues and opposes the request for height. Gloria Kimball formerly Old Town Way concerns with traffic visibility at intersection.

Motion by Kendra to continue to July 10th for a revised parking plan

Salisbury Woods request to amend Condition 10 of 40B approval.  Hookup recommended by Don/DPW. A recommendation from Tim on grass type that would require less water is “turf type tall fescue”, as opposed to bluegrass, has deep root system.

Motion by Tim to change condition based on the proper type of grass used.
