Abutters present
Request to withdraw without prejudice and have case readvertised, original ad was placed stating
there was a building to” raze”.
Ron Laffely also requested an informal presentation because so many abutters came to hear the case.
The property was subdivided in 1999 since that time the conservation laws have changed. Town considers property a buildable lot and Mr. Murdock has paid taxes and betterments. Would like to build on lot and asking for relief from front setback. Tim gave abutters opportunity to express some concerns.

Concerns: the high tides and the elevation of house; questioned “criteria” for variance requests; is the marsh land protected, is the marsh part of the “Great Marsh”; sewer hookup; the options for the Town to own land as open space;
Ron talked about the option for abutters to purchase land from Mr. Murdock.

Request to change the monitoring agent from Dick Eaton to North Shore Housing Trust Initiative.
North Shore is local and will be easier to work with.
