Meeting Began : 7:20 P.M. Salisbury Elementary School

 

 

Old Business:

 

 

Case 05-126                16 Gardner St. – not present-no abutters

Case opened - request read by Charlie

Board discussed the applicant not being present for several meeting. A letter was sent a letter advising the required time period of 100 days would be up and a waiver request would be necessary to extend the application. Since there has been no response the board voted;

Motion by Kendra to deny

2nd by Mark, all in favor.

 

Case 05-129                141 Beach Road-Howard Wolpert

A letter received  from applicant requesting a continuance.

Motion by Kendra to continue to December 13, 2005

2nc by Mark, all in favor.

 

Case 05-124                266 N. End Blvd. – Tony Rizzo

                                No abutters present

                                Request to extend deck 4’, no new concrete just wood decking.

Has a letter from the Conservation Commission approving the request.

Motion by Time to grant the finding contingent on receiving a copy of the letter

2nd by Mark, all in favor.

 

New Business:

 

Case 05-137                         16 Ocean St. Allen Naffah

                                                Request to raze existing 2 family and construct a new 2 family

                                                No abutters present

Request to have a variance for 40’ height and building to be 1.5 feet inside side setback.   Height required for a top-level bedroom. Kendra concerned about the height as the lot is just inside the new beach overlay district.  4 parking spaces to be under building. Board concerned with side setbacks, closeness of buildings and safety.

Motion by Mark to request a site visit and continue to Dec. 13, 2005

2nd by Tim, Charlie in favor, Kendra against height request.

 

Case# 05-138                       119 Atlantic Ave.-Matthew Bebe , the Great Room

                                                No abutters present

Request to raze existing 3 family and construct new 3 family dwelling with the zoning setbacks

Parking for 6 available, not finalized based on town decision on parking issues.

Motion by Tim to grant finding based on Millennium plan M051829 dated 6/23/05

2nd by Mark, all in favor

 

Case #05-139                       1 Main St.- Joe Jutras

                                                No abutters present

                                                Request for an accessory apartment

Request for a one-bedroom apartment with 895 S.F. finished area. Board needs to see letter of approval from the Board of Health and the Planning Board.

Motion by Tim to continue to Oct. 25th based on acquiring the letters.

2nd by Kendra, all in favor

 

Other Business:

 

Bruce Weiker 14 Ferry Road requesting an extension of Special Permit. Permit to expire Dec. 2005. He is waiting for Conservation Commission approvals and does not expect that to happen by the end of the year.

Motion by Tim to extend the Special Permit for 2 years

2nd by Mark , all in favor.

 

Tim Lamprey had concerns with unapproved signs he has seen. One for Ferry Lots Lane

And one on Bridge Road advertising Boat Storage. Board will look into.

 

Motion by Tim to go into Executive Session
