Minutes from May 15, 2007 Meeting

 

Call to order:  Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Louis Masiello, Chairman .

Members present: Linda Firth, Joanne Housianitis and Marie Blais SBOH secretary.  Absent, Member Anthony Tuccelli

 

Public Comments: None

 

Old Business: 

1.  116 Central Ave: Site plan review - Condominiums

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to deny approval until means of trash disposal is indicated on plan.

 

New Business: 

1.  Guest speaker: Dr. Esteban Cuebas-Incle, Northeast Mass. Mosquito Control, presented a slide show on the EEE and West Nile Virus mosquitoes, their habitat and measures the public can take to prevent getting bitten.

 

Licenses/Building Permits:

1.  8 Garafalo Drive: Building permit – new construction including accessory apartment

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to endorse BOH Chairman’s signature on permit.

 

2.  105 Bridge Rd: Revised Site plan

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve revised plan.

 

3.  1 Beach Rd: Site plan review - pharmacy

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to deny plan – sewer line is not shown on plan.

 

4.  32 Old Elm St.: Sewer waiver

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to grant sewer waiver until December 31, 2007.

 

5.  License renewal: Tanning Salon – Latitude Sports Club

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve.

 

6.  License renewal:  Pre-packaged food – Latitude Sports Club

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve.

7.  License renewal: Pool – Latitude Sports Club: Semi-Public; Latitude Sports Club: Special purpose.

SBOH Action:  Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by Joanne Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve.

Health Officer Report/Correspondence: None

Members Report:

1.  L. Masiello: Tattoo regulation – did they get mailed out.  Marie Blais told the Chairman that Health Officer, Robert Fraser delivered the regulations when he inspected the facilities.
