Minutes from April 17, 2007 Meeting

 

Call to order:  Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Louis Masiello, Chairman .

Members present: Linda Firth, Joanne Housianitis and Marie Blais SBOH secretary.   Absent, member Anthony Tuccelli

 

Public Comments:

1. Eileen Modricker: Hidden Treasures – requesting to extend her license to in chair massage therapy at various business establishments.

Board would like to look into matter and will post as an item on May 1st agenda.

 

Old Business:

1.  Gourmet Pantry – menu for use with new equipment.

SBOH Action: Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to table until consulting Health Officer can inspect.

 

New Business:  None

 

Licenses/Building Permits:

1.  27 Pike St. – Local septic system upgrade

SBOH Action: Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve with changes required by consulting Engineer Alexander Parker be made on final plan.  Plan may be signed in office.

 

2.  164 Lafayette Rd - Local septic system upgrade

SBOH Action: Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve with changes required by consulting Engineer, Alexander Parker be made on final plan.  Plan may be signed in office.

 

3.  Off Rabbit Rd – Environmental study True North Commerce Center

Consulting Engineer, Alexander Parker reviewed and advised the Board there was nothing negative about the study.

SBOH Action: Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by L. Firth.  Unanimously voted to endorse Board of Health Chairman’s signature.

 

4.  License renewal – septic installer: Bruce Hoehn

SBOH Action: Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by L. Firth.  Unanimously voted to approve.

 

5.  License renewal -  prepackaged food: Paradise Brazil, Rusnik Campground, Melo’s Liquor Store, Pushcart Caterers.

SBOH Action: Motion by L. Firth; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve contingent upon inspection.

1. L. Masiello:

Invite Don Levesque to meeting of May 1st to discuss the draft of the Floor Drain Regulation.

Have the consultant Health Officer, Bob Fraser attend the May 11th mosquito control meeting at Endicott Park.

Coastal Management is having a meeting at Newbury Town Hall on April 19th.

Emergency Management Planning – How and How not to battle flu literature is available

 

Accept Minutes of Previous Meeting: Wait until full Board is available.
