Minutes from February 20, 2007 Meeting

 

Call to order:  Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Linda Firth, Vice-Chairperson.

Members present: Anthony Tuccelli, Joanne Housianitis and Marie Blais SBOH secretary.  Also present, Horace Baxter, Health Officer.  Absent, Chairman Louis Masiello and member Randy Hitchcock

 

Public Comments:  None

New Business:  None

Licenses/Building Permits:

1.  116 Main St.:  New Septic System Design

SBOH Action:  Motion by A. Tuccelli; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to approve contingent upon indicating on the As-Built plan the location of the  domestic water connections.

 

2.  19 Brooks Rd:  Local septic upgrade

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to approve contingent upon inspection of septic tank and baffles by Health Officer.

 

3.  3 Twin Brooks Rd:  Building Permit: Endorse Health Officer’s signature

SBOH Action:  Motion by A. Tuccelli; Seconded by J. Housianitis.  Unanimously voted to endorse Health Officer’s signature

 

4.  1 High Back Rd:  Building Permit: Endorse Health Officer’s signature

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to endorse Health Officer’s signature

 

5.  65 Pike St:  Request for early percolation test

Petitioner, Robert Bochenko not present

Health Officer explained to Board this was not considered an emergency because no one was living in the dwelling.

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to table until owner appears at meeting.

Health Officer Report/Correspondence:

1.      Clinical report available in office

2.      Nurse’s contract for FY08 increased more than expected, and they will be billing on a monthly rate basis.

3.      Septic installer’s test is scheduled for Friday, March 16th at 8:00 A.M. in Health Office.

 

Members Report:

  1. J. Housianitis:  Status on 8 housing issues on the Health Officer’s weekly report.

Health Officer stated he cannot discuss such issue in the open meeting, but can give a detail if member wants to stop by the office.

A warrant for Housing Inspections should be on Town Meeting.  Discuss at later meeting.
