Minutes from December 19, 2006 Meeting

 

Call to order:  Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Louis Masiello, Chairman .

Members present:  Anthony Tuccelli, Joanne Housianitis and Marie Blais SBOH secretary.  Also present, Horace Baxter, Health Officer.  Absent, members Randy Hitchcock and  Linda Firth.

 

Public Comments: None

 

Old Business: 

1.  Emergency Management Plan: Workshops to be conducted after the holidays.

2.  75 Main St.: Revised Site Plan

Engineer from Apple Associates presented the revised site plan and a letter describing the revisions.

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to approve as stated in letter.

 

New Business: 

1.  Tobacco Collaborative: Karin Carroll speaker

The tobacco grant is aimed at educated the youth and doing compliance checks with each tobacco retailer in Salisbury.

Health Department to supply Karin with a list of tobacco retailers.

 

Licenses/Building Permits:

1.      90 Forest Rd: Lot 9B and 9C: New septic design systems

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to require property owner’s telephone number on permit, 75 foot bench mark and property line pipe marker to be shown on as-built.

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to approve conditionally: plans must show if club house is to be used for cooking and if so, show grease trap; indicate how often trash compactor is to be emptied.

 

5.  147 Bridge Rd: Site Plan Review -  Honey Dew Donuts

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to approve site plan and building permit as submitted.

 

6.  113 Forest Rd: Site Plan Review -  Sub-division

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to table sub-division.

 

7.  23 Rabbit Rd: Sewer Waiver

SBOH Action:  Motion by J. Housianitis; Seconded by A. Tuccelli.  Unanimously voted to accept as submitted.

1.      Clivus Report on alternative technologies, Food Protection Report, Seabrook Waste Water Report, and Landlord/Tenant Bulletin is available in the office.

  1. Emergency perc test(after the December 1st deadline) is required at 63 Ferry Rd.
