Minutes from July 18, 2006 Meeting

 

Call to order:  Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Linda Firth, Vice-Chairperson.

Members present: Randy Hitchcock, Anthony Tuccelli and Marie Blais SBOH secretary.  Also present, Horace Baxter, Health Officer.  Absent, Louis Masiello, Chairman

 

Public Comments: None

 

Old Business: 

  1. Private Water Well Regulations – workshop to continue at first meeting in August. 
  2. Wetland Setback Regulations – Board members to review upon completion of Private Water Well Regs.

      3.  Emergency Management Plan – Member L. Firth still working on it.  Will distribute     

           copies to Board members

      4.  Nurse’s Contract FY07

13.  Temporary Food Permit: Brazilian Festival: 4 Oceanfront No. & 6 Central Ave.: Relocation and date change.

Other Issues: 

1.  Discussion of application form for mobile food vendors

Health Officer, Horace Baxter informed the Board of the vendors at the beach complaining about temporary food licenses being issued to the Flea Market at Glowing Promotions.

He further requested that the Board review the form for mobile food vendors to determine whether or not CORI reports should be furnished to the board as part of the licensing process.

No action taken by the Board.

 

Health Officer Report/Correspondence:

  1. Report from the Seabrook, NH Waste Water Treatment Plant is on file in the office
  2. This month’s Food Protection report is available in the office
  3. Commonsense Food is a licensed firm to give food safety classes and is located in Merrimac.
  4. Project in the office for the filing of all septic plans in a uniform manner is now complete.
  5. Inspections are going well.
