Minutes from December 6, 2005 Meeting
Call to order: Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Linda Firth Vice-Chairperson .
Members present: Christopher Leahy, Randy Hitchcock and Marie Blais SBOH secretary. Also present, Horace Baxter, Health Officer. Absent, Louis Masiello, Chairman.
Public Comments: None
Old Business:
Mike Callahan of Beaver Solutions spoke to affected property owners explaining how to remove the beavers, breach the dam, and lower the water level 3 feet as requested by the sewer department to prevent the flow of water into the sewer line.
Health Officer, Horace Baxter stated the affected owners would have to agree as a “neighborhood” to hire professions and to bear a portion of the cost along with the Town’s offer to pay a portion of the cost for removal of beavers and breaching the dam.
SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to close this discussion.
