Call to order: Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Louis Masiello, Chairman .

Licenses/Building Permits:

1. Request for waiver on Prepackaged Food License – Pines Camping Area

Adding new machine to heat precooked food products

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to approve waiver contingent upon food resale kept away from waste disposal area.

2. License renewal – prepackaged food: Melo’s Liquor Store

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to approve contingent upon inspection.

3. License new – prepackaged food: Salisbury Convenience; Polkadot Playhouse

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to approve Polkadot Playhouse.

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to approve

Salisbury Convenience contingent upon satisfactory inspection.

4. License renew – food service: Fishtale Diner

SBOH Action: Motion by R. Hitchcock; Seconded by C. Leahy. Unanimously voted to approve

5. License for food service - Cinemagic

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to approve all as read.

8. Building Permit: 99 Bridge Rd

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to endorse the Health Officer’s approval signature on the Building Permit.

9. Environmental Site Plan Review – 7 McCarthy Way

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to disapprove for lack of specific information. Requested the following information be provided by the Planning Board:

• Provide sewer flow calculations
• Information on plan for trash pick up
• Potable water supply
• Proposed sewer and water services for the structures

10. Building Permit: 40 Elmwood Street

SBOH Action: Motion by R. Hitchcock; Seconded by C. Leahy. Unanimously voted to endorse Building Permit.

Other Issues:

1. 105 CMR 435.23 Statute for Semi-Public Pools.

New rules and regulations for CPOs with regard to testing and maintaining water in pools.

Additional discussion on whether or not to require lifeguards at the semi-public pools.

SBOH Action: Motion by C. Leahy; Seconded by R. Hitchcock. Unanimously voted to table discussion for additional information.

Health Officer Report:

1. Motels: currently working on inspections

2. Perk tests

3. Campgrounds: start inspections next week

4. Secured another grant

Members Report:

1. C. Leahy: Problem with restaurant at beach operating without a license.
2. L. Masiello: Put on agenda for next meeting: Private Water Wells for discussion not a hearing.
