The Town of Salisbury is interested in increasing the affordable housing opportunities for those who would like to live in Salisbury.  In addition to our Housing Rehabilitation Program, we work with developers to increase our supply of units that are reserved for people who are of low median income, who might not otherwise be able to afford housing in Salisbury.

Housing Rehabilitation Program

The Community Development Block Grant staff is responsible for the preparation and administration of grant funded programs designed to assist in the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low to moderate income families living in the Town of Salisbury. The CDBG staff also administers the Boys & Girls Club scholarships and the Pettengill House Emergency Assistance program.

Affordable Homeownership Resale Opportunities

There are several units within the Town of Salisbury that are deed restricted as “affordable.”
