March 3 – Public Meeting – Present and discuss draft Vision Statement.  Present and discuss draft goals and strategies for Land Use (Zoning and Regulations), Open Space and Recreation, and Cultural and Historic Resources.

 

March 17 – Public Meeting – Review and approve/edit draft Vision statement.  Present and discuss recommended goals and strategies for Economic Development and Housing

 

March 31 - Public Meeting – Present and discuss revised Vision statement.  Present and discuss recommended goals and strategies for Public Facilities and Services and Transportation.

 

April 7 – Public Meeting - Review and approve/edit revised Vision Statement.  Review and approve/edit revised goals and strategies for each element of the Master Plan.

 

April 23 [Salisbury Town Hall, 5 Beach Rd, 7:00]– Planning Board Presentation - Present draft version of comprehensive plan to board at regular meeting for review and comments.

 

*** Following April 23 Planning Board Meeting the Consultant Team would make all changes to document and prepare a comprehensive draft Plan for the Spring Town Meeting.

 

May 19 [Salisbury Elementary School, 100 Lafayette Rd, 7:30]-  Spring Town Meeting - Master Plan Committee Chair will present the Vision Statement and draft Master Plan at Spring Town Meeting (this would include sharing the published Existing Conditions document  and the fully reviewed (and Executive Committee approved) draft Implementation Plan

 

***Following Spring Town Meeting, Master Plan committee members will present the Plan to various boards, commissions, departments and community groups, as desired, to solicit input for continued refinement.

 

June 16 – Public Meeting – Consultant Team will present the draft Master Plan. All comments will be submitted to Consultant Team for Final Revisions to the Vision Statement and Master Plan by this date.

 

July/ August– Publication of Final Documents
